Cases of clipping can be classified as follows. (Commands sent at this
time are all taken to be three-dimensional movement
commands.)
A
The cutting range can be represented by a regular parallepiped, and when
operating within this regular parallepiped there is no problem with only
simple operation.
=>
Because clipping is not performed, there are no effects.
B
The cutting range is a regular parallepiped and movement extends from a
particular side surface and enters the same side surface.
There are two types of operation.
1.
Movement extends outside the side and again enters the clipping area at
the same side with change in only the Z-axis height, with no movement of
the X or Y axes.
=>
Move only the Z axis to recover at the location of movement
outside.
2.
Movement extends outside the side and again enters the clipping area at
the same side with movement of the X and Y axes.
=>
Raise the tool all the way up once, move the X and Y axes to the
recovery location, then lower the Z axis to the recovery height.
C
The cutting range is a regular parallepiped and movement extends from a
particular side surface and enters a different side surface.
=>
Raise all the way up once, move only the X and Y axes, then
lower only the Z axis.
D
The cutting range is a regular parallepiped and movement extends from a
particular side surface and enters from the top surface and not from a side
surface.
=>
Raise all the way up once, move only the X and Y axes, then
lower only the Z axis.
