Roland Boutique JU-06 FAQ

When you turn the power off and on again, the preview function is enabled.

Q.

Does the sound engine of the Boutique series support velocity?

Yes, it supports velocity.
With the factory settings, the velocity is set to a fixed value; in the system settings, change the key velocity setting to

[1] (TOUCH).

Q.

Is the bend range of the Boutique series units memorized for each patch?

Yes, it is memorized for each patch.

Q.

Sometimes a knob or fader operation on a Boutique series unit is not reflected in
the sound.

Depending on the parameter settings that are saved in a patch, there might be cases in which no sound is produced

even when the VOLUME is at the maximum setting, or in which operating a parameter makes no difference in the

sound.
Example: If the SOURCE MIX parameter is set to 0 (toward VCO1), operating the VCO2 parameters will have no effect

on the sound of the output.

If no sound is output, load a patch to see whether an existing patch will produce sound.
