Does the sound engine of the Boutique series support velocity?
Yes, it supports velocity.
With the factory settings, the velocity is set to a fixed value; in the system settings, change the key velocity setting to
[1] (TOUCH).
Q.
Is the bend range of the Boutique series units memorized for each patch?
Yes, it is memorized for each patch.
Q.
Sometimes a knob or fader operation on a Boutique series unit is not reflected in
the sound.
Depending on the parameter settings that are saved in a patch, there might be cases in which no sound is produced
even when the VOLUME is at the maximum setting, or in which operating a parameter makes no difference in the
sound.
Example: If the SOURCE MIX parameter is set to 0 (toward VCO1), operating the VCO2 parameters will have no effect
on the sound of the output.

If no sound is output, load a patch to see whether an existing patch will produce sound.

If memory has been overwritten, try a factory reset.

The ribbon controller’s LED on the Boutique series unit is blinking.
The batteries have run low.
Install new batteries.

What is the range of the step sequencer tempo setting on Boutique series units?
The tempo range is 40 BPM to 300 BPM.
Q.
How do I take the Boutique series unit out of the K-25M?
Disconnect the wiring that connects the unit to the K-25M; then, from the side of the K-25K, use a thin, pointed object
such as a headphone plug to press the hinge on the right side of the module, and remove the module.

Can I make the parameter value be held even after I take my finger off the C2
ribbon controller of the Boutique series unit?
Use system setting [[11] to turn MOD HOLD on; the value will be held even after you take your finger off
C2.
