1.2 - Software Needs
1. - Windows Operating Systems Win 2K or Win XP. (preferably Win 2K)
2. - Sound card driver.
3. - Files in compressed MP3 format of the songs, can be installed more than
9,000 song files.
4. - Installation program for RK4 (trial version) available on the Web. The final version
requires a password. The trial version operates completely with the limitation of sounding
the music files only for 60 seconds.
1.3 - Operating Modes
1 - Jukebox (standard mode)
It works like a Jukebox, for this you must use a pendrive with the archives of songs
classified by album. This mode can operate in two ways:
1.1.- Free Mode (free player)
1.2.- Commercial Mode (need bonus to player)
Free Mode
: The selection is made directly (free) with the Numeric Keypad (of the Songboard)
and with the Command Keypad selects the album random. When the selection is made from the
Numeric Keypad this is called
“Songboard Selection”
.
Commercial Mode:
The selection is only made from the numeric keypad if credit is available.
2 - Programming Mode
Function to create or modify the songboard and setting jukebox (one part).
To make the complete setting of the RK4 program a keyboard, an LCD screen and a
mouser are necessary.
3 - BoomBox (mp3 player)
It works as an mp3 file player, for this it is necessary to connect a pendrive with music
files. The music file paths must be different from those assigned as jukebox, otherwise it operates
in jukebox mode.
Music files can be saved in different folders (maximum 500 folders) and with the command
keypad you can forward or back music files or folders.
This mode automatically reads the logical units: D, E and F
