the same type. It will offer the quality and expected performance of appliances of the same
type. The failure of any of the above that occur within the first six months after the purchase
invoice date, the warranty date, or the completed guarantee card date, is assumed, unless
proved to the contrary, to have existed at the moment of delivery. After this period, up to the
end of the two year period, it will be up to the user to prove that any appearance of failure to
conform to the requisites existed at the time of the delivery of the apparatus.
In addition, the guarantee covers during both years from the date of purchase the cost of
those components that are replaced by Rointe’s Official Technical Assistance Service.
In addition the electric water heater is a guaranteed for 7 years from the date of purchase,
provided that an annual inspection of the condition of the magnesium anode is made by the
Official Technical Assistance Service and it is replaced when there is excessive erosion.
Remember that while the heater is being repaired or replaced, the period during which you
can excercise your rights with the seller, and those that are offered in addition by ROINTE’s
heater guarantee, will be temporarily suspended until the repaired or substitue heater is
delivered, from which time the unused guarantee period will be available, with a minimum
period of 6 months in all cases.
EXCEPTIONS:
The following cases state exceptions from the present guaranteed cover, for
which all repairs will be charged to the user:
Damage caused deliberately, through negligence, or wrong use of the water heater by the
client or third parties.
The failures produced by chance causes, strong forces (atmospheric or geologic phenomena)
and generally the failures caused by elements that don’t belong to the heater.
Faults that result from an incorrect installation or lack of maintenance of the heater, made
by a professional without the necessary qualification. Guidance can be found within the
recommendations for installation and use as found in the installation manual and in the
instruction booklet.
Aesthetic wear and tear produced by use, the cleaning of limescale accumulation, revision
and substitution of the magnesium anode as well as other operations of maintenance of the
heater.
All heaters must be installed in a way that allows access for our technicians. The user is
responsible for any costs and organization required to provide access to the heaters for their
repair and / or substitution.
VERY IMPORTANT:
in order to be covered by this guarantee, it is essential that the user can
prove to the guarantor’s Official Technical Assistance Service the date of purchase by means
of the invoice or ticket emitted by the seller of the heater and the certificate of guarantee.
In the case of heaters supplied in newly built premises, it is sufficient to prove the date of
availability of the heater to the user.
