5.6. Cautions:
a) Interferences:
Some types of phone exchanges are more sensible to the radio-
frequency interferences, which might cause some noises. In this
situation you have to place the VOXELL equipment as far as you
can from the PBX exchange.
b) Unauthorized access
When the VOXELL equipment is connected with the FxO interface
to a local number and uses the DISA working mode, unauthorized
access from outside is possible. When there are no restrictions
regarding the access rights of the extension which VOXELL is
connected, anyone who calls the mobile number of the VOXELL
from a public network will get the right to access the out lines of the
PBX exchange.
To avoid this thing you have two possibilities:
1. Either configure the phone exchange to reject the out
calls, which are initiated from inside where the VOXELL
interface is connected.
2. Or, if the phone exchange cannot be configured in that
way, then set the VOXELL equipment not to offer a DISA
tone, when a mobile phone call is arriving (instead of
providing the DISA tone, the VOXELL will call the operator
at “Target”).
