Cleaning

To clean the exterior of the probe, use a soft cloth moistened with either distilled
water or isopropyl alcohol. Before using the probe again, make sure to dry it com-
pletely.

Instrument damage caused by cleaning agents

Cleaning agents contain substances that may damage the instrument; for
example, solvent may damage the labeling or plastic parts.
Never use cleaning agents such as solvents (thinners, acetone, etc.), acids,
bases or other substances

Calibration Interval

The recommended calibration interval for R&S

 

RT-ZZ80 transmission line probe

is two years. For servicing, send the probe to your nearest Rohde & Schwarz ser-
vice center (see 

chapter 5.2, "Returning the Probe for Servicing"
