2.1.1 Test Setup
For the test setup the stipulations of CISPR 22:2005 shall be observed. Fig. 1 shows a
typical test setup in line with CISPR 22:2005 for tabletop equipment if a vertical ground
reference plane is used.

Both ends of the basic network contain threaded holes. These are intended for low-
impedance connection to the horizontal or vertical reference ground plane, i.e. they
can be connected either directly to the reference ground or via a low-impedance and
low-inductance metallic foil.
The EUT must be connected to the adapter at the EUT port, and the auxiliary
equipment to the adapter at the AE port. Direct coupling between the cables at the
EUT and AE ports should be avoided in order to make efficient use of the excellent
decoupling attenuation provided by the R&S ENY81.
