2.1 Radio Disturbance Measurements in Line with CISPR 22
The ISN consists of a high symmetric basic network (eight-wire ISN) with on the EUT
side implemented longitudinal conversion loss (LCL) of 75 dB to simulate operation
with a category CAT6 cable. For cable categories CAT3 and CAT5, the R&S ENY81
(1309.8503.03) eight-wire coupling network can be obtained separately.
The basic network allows connection to RJ-45 sockets with pin assignments in line with
EIA/TIA T568A or T568B, respectively. Table 1 shows the pin assignment.
