The Rockler Router Hole Pattern Drilling Template can help
you accurately drill mounting holes in many Rockler jigs and
accessories to fit the routers listed above, using a
#10 Self-Centering Drill Bit (69007, sold separately).
Drilling Holes For Your Router
1.
Refer to the color-coded diagram above to locate the hole
pattern for your router. Place the acrylic Router Hole Pattern
Drilling Template on the diagram, aligning the notch on the
template with the notch on the diagram. Find the hole pattern
for your router and use a permanent marker or some other
method to mark the holes on the Drilling Template. Double-
check the identified pattern on the Drilling Template against
the hole pattern on your router base to ensure you have the
right one.
Fig. 1.
Depending on the router and the screws
required for mounting the router, the initial holes you drill
might need to be enlarged with a bigger bit and countersunk
or counterbored to make sure the screw head does
not protrude.
If you have downloaded these instructions
from our website, make sure to print them out at 100% so
the diagram above will be in the appropriate scale.
