Maintenance

A maintenance message requires your 

immediate attention. The meter may stop 

working temporarily. Some examples:

• 

The batteries are empty. 

• 

The test strip has expired. 

• 

The meter may detect a problem when 

performing a self-check. 

Almost always you can fix the problem by 

following the instruction in the maintenance 

message. You can insert new batteries or start 

the test again with a new test strip. Or the 

meter often fixes a problem itself when you 

power it off and on again.

and the suggested action.

Press the Enter button   to confirm the 

message.

Take the action suggested in the message.
