reserve

address
within

DHCP
range

a
client

Add
Static
Lease

the
MAC
address

required
IP
Address
for
the
client.
Make
sure
that
the
IP
address
chosen
is
within
the
range
entered
on
the
LAN

firewall
settings

then

Apply/SAVE
.
Note
:
three
Firewall
levels
are
supported
in
the
Gateway,
they
are:
Low
:
enable
basic
firewall
feature
‐
prevent
port
from
scanning;
allow
PING
from
WAN
side;
allow
ICMP
redirect
messages
from
WAN
side.
Middle
:
based
on
low
level,
prevent
ICMP
redirect
messages.
High
:
based
on
middle
level,
prevent
SYN
Flood
attack;
against
PING
from
WAN
side.
Note:
by
default
the
Firewall
is
enabled
and
set
to
the
“High”
setting
–
it
is
recommended
that
to
maintain
maximum
security
this
setting
is
not
changed.
