Winterizing the E-Trek

Typical non-toxic RV

antifreeze

Fresh water tank drain valve

You will need:

1.

1. four gallons of pink RV antifreeze
2.

2. Replacement filter for the hot water dispenser
3.

3. A place to dump a small amount of water and non-toxic antifreeze

•

• Take your vehicle to a wastewater dump location, and dump and rinse your black and gray water tanks completely.

•

• Turn off the water pump.

•

• Empty the fresh water tanks by opening the locating the valve under the passenger side front door running board, just

behind the front wheel. This valve is not visible from the side of the E-Trek, and will require you to get down and look
underneath the front passenger door step. The valve has a black plastic handle which points across the water line when
closed, and along the line when open. Open this valve and allow the fresh water in the tank to drain out onto the ground.
