Chapter 7: Maintenance

7. Connect the detector leads to the terminal block the same way the old detector was wired (see

Figure 8 on page 20).

8. Screw the calibration adapter/splash guard onto the new detector housing cap.

9. Reinstall the detector junction box cover.

10. Turn on or plug in power to the M2A.

CAUTION:

Allow the replacement detector to warm up for 5 minutes

before you

continue with the next step.

11. Calibrate the replacement detector as described in “Calibration” on page 41.
