Assembling the synchronisation shaft (without protective tube)

Prerequisites:

The electric gear unit and/or motor (if available) are secured
against restarting.
n
Linear units to be connected must be fixed in the substrate.
1.
Place the screw-in hubs (Fig. 23/2) on the timing belt shafts
(Fig. 23/1) of both linear units.
2.
Tighten 4 screws each (Fig. 23/3), alternating diagonally:

Insert gear rings (Fig. 23/4) into the screw-in hubs.
4.
Place the clamping hubs (Fig. 24/2) on both sides of the steel
Do not fix the clamping hubs to the steel tube
yet.
5.
Place the steel tube (Fig. 24/3) with the loose clamping hubs
between the screw-in hubs of both linear units.
6.
Slide clamping hubs (Fig. 24/2) into the screw-in hubs
Ensure that the clamping hubs on the steel
tube engage correctly in the screw-in hubs
on the linear units.
7.
Tighten the screw (Fig. 24/4) on each clamping hub.
