– for the non-observance of the safety instructions and operating notes
– when using unapproved materials, operating materials or accessories
– for non-compliance of the work protection regulations and accident preven-
tion regulations
– for non-compliance of the relevant statutory regulations
– for non-compliance of the permitted restrictions and limits, in particular ex-
ceeding the maximum dimensions of the workpieces to be machined or the
machining of cubes from the inner side
In addition, non-intended use can be, for example:
– Use of impermissible tools.
– Improper operation.
– Improper rectification of malfunctions.
– Use of an accessory not approved by Rittal.
3.2.1 Proper materials

Proper materials
Other materials and wall thicknesses are deemed improper. If other materi-
als need to be machined, the machine parameters may need to be adapted.
In such a case, always consult your Rittal contact person.
3.2.2 Non-intended use
A non-intended use is any use not described as intended use.
Rittal is not liable for any damage that results from a non-intended use. The
operating company alone is responsible for risks that result from a non-in-
tended use.
3.3 Dimensions and clearances
The exact dimensions of your Perforex BC machining centre can be ob-
tained from the supplied installation diagram (also see section 9). The di-
mensions and weights are also listed in the delivery papers. See also sec-
tion 1.4 "Associated documents".
