PROBLEM
SOLUTION
Noise or sound distorted on AM or FM
broadcast.
•
Retune the AM or FM station.
•
Reposition the Boombox and/or
antenna to get the best recep-
tion.
No sound from AM or FM.
•
Ensure Function switch is in the
RADIO position.
•
Increase Volume.
•
Unplug the 3.5mm cable.
CD player will not play.
•
Ensure the Function switch is in
the CD position.
•
Unplug the 3.5mm cable.
•
Load CD with label side up.
•
If playing back a CD-R or CD-RW,
Burn a better quality blank CD
and retest.
CD skips while playing.
•
Wipe CD with a clean cloth or use
another disc.
Intermittent sound from CD player.
•
Clean or replace the defective
disc.
•
Relocate the player away from
shock or vibration.
Sound is distorted at high volume
setting.
•
Adjust Volume Control to a lower
comfortable level.
