TIPS
• The stronger the hair, the thicker the layer of wax needed. So for
areas with thicker hair i.e. Bikini line, a thicker layer of hard wax
should be applied.
• Applying a small amount of oil to the skin, such as baby oil,
before applying wax creates a barrier that will prevent wax from
adhering to the skin. This is a more effective technique than
applying baby powder.
• When applying wax to the skin with the spatula, use a medium-
firm pressure. This will ensure the wax reaches the base of the
hairs.
• Using a figure of 8 swirling motion to apply the wax will ensure the
edges of your strip are slightly thicker, this will help prevent the
wax from breaking on removal.
• For sensitive areas, or areas of dense hair growth or loose skin,
a smaller, narrower strip will be most effective.
• Stretch the skin around the area you are waxing with your free
hand to avoid the uncomfortable sensation of skin being pulled
when wax is removed.
