EXTEND THE LABOR COVERAGE UNDER YOUR LIMITED WARRANTY*
Ultra Series RUR98i, RUR98e
REGISTRATION REQUIRED*
Rinnai is providing the opportunity to extend your Rinnai Standard Limited Warranty on labor only on Ultra Series models
RU80 and RU98 if you register within 30 days of purchase of your unit.
Products not registered will s ll be covered under the
Rinnai standard product limited warranty as provided in the Installa on and Opera on Instruc on manual which comes
with this product. Warranty informa on is also available on Rinnai's web site at www.rinnai.us.
RESIDENTIAL APPLICATIONS:
The limited warranty period on the labor coverage for models RUR98i, and RUR98e Tankless Water Heaters installed in
a residenti l applicati n is extended for an addi onal 48 months (a total of 60 months labor coverage from date of
purchase), when used in a residential ot water applicati n, if the product is registered within 30 days of purchase at
www.rinnai.us/product-registratio
or by calling 1-866-RINNAI-1 (746-6241), except registratio is not required in California
and Quebec.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EXTENDING THE LABOR COVERAGE UNDER THE LIMITED WARRANTY:
1. The labor coverage does NOT extend if the RUR98i, and RUR98e Tankless Water Heater is used for structure hea ng or in a
closed loop applica on.
2. If the product is installed on a circula on system, the circula on system must be controlled through an aquastat / thermostat,
or time , or an on-demand system, or the limited warranty will not be extended.
COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS:
The limited warranty period on the labor coverage for models RUR98i, and RUR98e Tankless Water Heaters
installed in a commercial applicati n is extended for an addi onal 12 months (a total of 24 months labor
coverage from date of purchase), when used in a commercial hot water applica on, if the product is registered
within 30 days of purchase at www.rinnai.us/product-registrati n
or by calling 1-866-RINNAI-1 (746-6241), ex-
cept registrati n is not required
in California and Quebec.

conditi ned on registrati n, registrati n is not required to obtain longer warranty periods and failure to
register does not diminish your warranty rights.
