Ethernet Mode
1. Make sure that the IP controller’s front switch is set to WIFI and then power up
the IP Controller, open up your devices wireless network page. On it you will find
all available wireless networks. Look for the WIFI SSID that starts with
“LEDnetXXXXXXXX” (the x’s are the IP controllers MAC Address.) (Figure 2)
2. Connect to that network using the default password “88888888”.
3. Open the Rimikon App, there you will see the same LEDnetXXXXXXXX listed as
an available device. (Figure 3) Press and hold it for 3 seconds to edit it.
4. Once you are on the Devices Edit screen, please take note of the MAC Address,
you will need in the next step. Rename the device to make it easier to identify it
later on. Below you will find a box asking to connect to existing WIFI network,
Make sure that it is not selected. Save and exit.
5. Unplug The Power to the IP Controller and slide the front switch to the Network
position.
6. Connect the RJ45 Network wire to the front RJ45 Port on the IP Controller, and
power up the IP Controller. After it is finished booting up, log into your routers
settings page and assign the IP controller a static IP. This is sometimes referred
to as Address reservation. Please consult your routers documentation to learn
how to assign a static IP.
7. Complete steps 1-6 for each IP controller you want to control.
8. You can now control all your lights using the Rimikon App.
