B) LAP (Chronometer):
• This function is used for clocking trips.
The function STARTS automatically
when the vehicle sets off and STOPS
3” after the vehicle stops. This piece of
information is displayed in MM’ SS” for-
mat up to an hour and then in HH:MM.
To reset, hold MODE button down for
2”.
C) AVE (Average Speed):
• This displays the average speed of the
vehicle based on the partial distance
travelled (TD) and time employed
(LAP). To reset, hold MODE button
down for 2”.
D) MAX (Maximum Speed):
• This is the maximum speed reached
by the vehicle. It can be reset with vehi-
cle at a standstill by holding MODE
button down for approx. 2”.
Resetting any of the functions TD, LAP or AVE will auto-
matically reset the others.
E) TEXT (Ambient Temperature):
• This displays ambient temperature in
degrees Celsius.
It records temperature within a range
going from -10°C to +55°C. At tempera-
tures of less than 5°C, it activates the
ICE alarm. Hold the MODE button down
within this function to select km or mile
display.
F) Mile/km selection
• If you are driving in countries where differ-
ent measurement systems are adopted,
you can change the unit of measurement
of the distance travelled and of the speed
recorded (instant, average and maxi-
mum) from kilometres to miles or vice
versa. To gain access to this function,
hold the MODE button within the TEXT
(Ambient Temperature) function. To
select a unit of measurement (mes-
sage flashes), give the MODE button a
short press. After selecting, hold the
MODE button down to memorise your
selection.
Using a unit of measurement that differs from the one
used in the country where you are driving may lead to
improper calculations, especially concerning the vehicle’s
speed. Consequences include exposure of the driver and
others to dangers, as well as fines.
