FUSING

q

After image is transferred, paper enters fusing unit and image is fused to paper
by heat and pressure of hot roller and pressure roller.

q

CPU monitors hot roller temperature through thermistor in contact with hot
roller surface. Thermostat protects fusing unit from overheating.
