Drum Cleaning

q

Cleaning blade & used toner tank are contained in toner cartridge.

q

A counter blade system is used for drum cleaning. The cleaning blade
removes remaining toner on the drum after image is transferred to paper.
Removed toner is stored in the used toner tank.

q

There is no used toner overflow detection mechanism, because the used
toner tank is large enough for the lifetime of the toner cassette.
