use the flash close to the subject’s eyes. Particular care should be
observed when photographing infants.

Flash Synchro Settings

Choose how the flash synchronizes with the shutter.
•

1st Curtain

: The flash fires at the beginning of the expo-

sure. Recommended in most situations.

•

2nd Curtain

: The flash fires at the end of the exposure.

This option produces trails of light behind moving light
sources.
