Detects the rear edge of a small size cover (larger than 297 mm) during cover registration in
the cover registration unit.

SOL1

Cover Grip Solenoid

Opens and closes to control operation of the cover gripper in the cover registration unit. The
cover gripper clamps the cover so the cover registration guide can move the cover front/rear
to position the cover for binding to the signature.

Slide HP Sensor

Detects the home position of the book rotation grip unit. The book rotation grip unit is raised
and lowered by the slide motor (M44) when the book is being trimmed.
