CONTRAINDICATIONS
Patients with the following conditions should
not use the APT Performer:
1. Ligaments, knees or joint ruptures
2.
Post-osteoporosis
3. Crippled limbs
4. A person with severe spasticity
or stiffness in the limbs
5.
Acute thrombosis
6. Pregnancy
7. Patients where vital signs are
unstable, such as those with
severe pulmonary dysfunction
8.
Extremity tumors
9. Internal fixation fracture is unstable
10. Broken limbs
11.
Mental disorders
12. Other patients that are not able to
express their own feelings or physician
feels is not suitable to use this device.
ADVERSE EFFECTS
Discontinue use if the patient experiences
adverse reactions from the device. Possible
adverse reactions may include the following:
•
increased pain
• muscle tone reduction
• skin injuries
These adverse effects are rare and they can
be avoided by using the device properly
according to the user manual and under the
guidance of a physician.
