This product is designed to fit openings from 30 - 35.8" wide. Do not install this product outside of its range to avoid unexpected
accidents and/or product damage (please see step
).
l
Pay special attention to sharp corners and edges while installing this product to avoid personal injury.
l
Make sure the Door locks properly. Locks are positioned at the top/bottom of the Door to keep your pets safely confined and to
avoid unexpected injury and/or escape.
l
When opening/closing the Door, make sure the area is clear and be careful not to pinch your hands, fingers, or pets.

).
l
Use the supportive board if the pole or wall surface is unlevel to avoid unexpected accidents and/or product damage.
l
Do not drop or misuse this product in any way to avoid injuries and/or product damage.
l
Do not use this product to contain children, toddlers or infants.
l
This product is designed for use with medium size dogs. Do not use this product for any purpose other than its intended use.
l
After installing this product, make sure the Gate is steady and the Adjuster Knobs/Bolts are tightened securely
(please see step
).
*The top width of the frame may be wider than the wall since the product is
designed to be installed using a tension-spring effect. If necessary, use
force to make the top of the gate narrower to fit between the wall.

6. How to Install the Gate

The top width of the frame may be wider than the wall since
the product is designed to be installed using a tension-spring
effect. If necessary, use force to make the top of the gate
narrower to fit between the wall as shown in Figure 1.

For an opening width of 30 - 32.7"
Determine the desired direction for the door opening.
Set the product against the wall at a perpendicular
right angle as shown in Figure 2. Tighten the upper
Adjuster Knob until the rubber of the Adjuster Knob
touches the wall surface as shown in Figure 4.

Tighten the upper Adjuster Knobs on each side until
clearance between the Gate Door and Main Frame is
set to 0.04 - 0.08" as shown in Figure 5.
Install the product against the wall vertically as shown
in Figure 6.

Only use genuine Richell parts and do not alter the design of the gate to avoid accidents and/or injury.
l
Keep this product away from all heat sources at all times to avoid unexpected product damage or burn-related injuries to self/pets.
l
Do not use this product while your pet is leashed to avoid unexpected accidents/injuries, such as dog entanglement.
l
Do not lean or hang on to this product to avoid unexpected accidents and/or product damage.
l
If you notice anything wrong with this product or installation site, discontinue its use at once.
l
Tighten the Adjuster Knobs equally on both sides to avoid overturning or damaging the product
(please see step
).
l
Tighten the Adjuster Knob at the space between the Main Frame and Grip to 0.04 - 0.08" so the spring effect works properly.
Make sure enough tension-force is applied otherwise this product may fall down. Tighten the Adjuster Knobs firmly to avoid
unexpected accidents (please see step
).
Make sure the bottom of the Main Frame touches the Floor. A gap
between the floor and the bottom of the Main Frame indicates that
the gate has not been properly installed.

Do not apply excessive force while the Door is opened. This may cause damage to/separation of this product.
