ISLAND RANGE HOOD INSTALLATION
Note: More than one installer is recommended.
1). The ceiling must be able to bear at least 40 kg (88 lbs.) of weight, and the thickness of the ceiling must be at least
30 mm (1.18 in.)
2).
Drill 1*170 mm (6.7”) round hole in the ceiling.
3). In line with the hanging board, drill 12 holes in the ceiling. (See Pic
24
)
4). Using appropriate screws attach the hanging board to the ceiling

screws and nuts with washer to attach the angle iron into the hanging board. (See Pic 24)
6). Calculate the total length of the angle iron required so that the overlap angle iron is no less than 100 mm (39.4”)
and that the distance of the bottom of the range hood and the cooking surface is between 61
to 76

7). Attach the 2 sections of the angle iron together for each corner using provided

9). Attach the external chimney top to the hanging board using provided flat screws;
use supplied hook to hold external
chimney in place while completing installation.

10). Install the damper on top of the hood using provided screws. (See Pic 27
)
11). Attach the hood to the angle iron using provided flat screws. (See Pic 28
)
12). Put the extensible pipe on the outlet (See Pic
29)
13). After ensuring all things are ok, remove hook and put down the external
chimney. (See Pic 30
)
The installation is finished.
