ELECTRONIC CONTROL FOR TERMINAL UNITS

21

II.3.9  SETTING AND MODIFICATION OF

PARAMETERS WITH RECEIVER

The parameter map is resident in the basic card: when it is connected
to the receiver, overwriting from the base card to the receiver takes
place.

For the setting and modification of the parameters it is therefore
necessary to have a control panel (a KPLT touch wall panel can be
used or the on-board display provided on the KCF / B kit).

NOTE: with the KTLT remote control it is only possible to change the
serial address, baud rate and serial communication parity. Refer to the
instruction sheet of the remote control.

Procedure:
-  Disconnect the receiver from the base
-  Connect a KPLT touch control panel to the base or the on-board

display on the KCF / B kit

-  Following the procedure of II.3.8 modify the parameters of interest

(NOTE: since the configuration of the control panel can be unknown
or not compliant, it is strongly advisable to check the value of all the
other parameters)

-  Disconnect the control panel from the base
-  Reconnect the handset from the base

II.3.10  VISUALIZATION OF THE STATE OF THE

UNITY

You can access a quick menu that allows you to view some system
information.

The procedure is as follows:

Press the Fan and + key on
the control panel
simultaneously for 5 seconds.
The rEA indication appears on
the display.

Use the UP / DOWN key to
scroll through the parameters
until you reach the desired
parameter whose value you
want to display.

Press the On / Off button to
display the value.
Press the On / Off button again
to exit the display.

To exit the mode wait 15 seconds or press the Fan button.

The states that can be displayed are the following:

rEA

Real set point
(takes into account the starvation of the Economy
function)

3SP

3 speed fan speed
(1=min  2=med  3=max)

EC

Analog output value to the brushless fan
(0-100%)

H2o

Water probe temperature
(of the master in a master / slave network)

AiB

Air probe temperature connected on the board
(of the master in a master / slave network)
(takes into account the starature set in parameter CAb)

AiL

Air probe temperature mounted on KPLT / KRLT
(takes into account the starings set in the CAL parameter)

SUM/Ui

Displays the status of the SUMMER / WINTER contact
defined by the digital input D2 = 1 or D3 = 1 (II.3.5.3):
SUM = summer
Ui = winter

Uon /
UOF

Displays the status of the SECURITY contact (II.3.5.4)
defined by digital input D2 = 2 or D3 = 2:
Uon = open contact (active alarm)
UoF = closed contact

Eon /
EoF

Displays the status of the ECO contact (II.3.5.5) defined
by the digital input D2 = 4 or D3 = 4:
Eon = closed contact (ECO active)
EoF = open contact

Aon /
AoF

Displays the status of the ALARM contact (II.3.5.6)
defined by digital input D2 = 5 or D3 = 5:
Aon = open contact (active ALARM)
AoF = contact closed
