TO START THE FURNACE

2. Set the thermost

t to its lowest setting.
3. Turn off

ll electric power to the

ppli
a
nce.
4. This

pilot. It is equipped with

n ignition device which
a
uto-
m
a
tic
a
lly lights the burner. Do NOT try to light the burner by h
a
nd.
5. Remove control door/
a
ccess p

nel.
6. Move switch to the “OFF” position.

it five (5) minutes to cle

r out
a
ny g
a
s. Then smell for g
a
s, including ne
a
r the floor.
If you smell g
a
s, STOP!
• Do not try to light
a
ny
a
ppli
a
nce.
• Do not touch
a
ny electric switch; do not use
a
ny phone in your building.
• Immedi

tely c
a
ll your g
a
s supplier from
a
neighbor’s phone. Follow the g
a
s suppli-
er’s instructions.
• If you c

ch your g

s supplier, c

ll the fire dep

rtment.
If you don’t smell g

s, go to the next step.

TO SHUT DOWN FURNACE
1. Set the thermost

t to the lowest setting.
2. Turn off

ll electric power to the

nce if service is to be performed.
3. Remove control door.
4. Move switch to the “OFF” position.
5. Repl

ce control door.
