Position the Handihoist on the 3
rd
and 5
th
cross ties from the bottom as seen in fig. 3.3. Note that the 3
rd
and 5
th
cross ties are reinforced. The Handihoist should be on the underside of the track. Center the Handihoist between
the track rails and lock in place by inserting the lock pins into holes in the Handihoist mounting frame.

Fasten the handwheel to the Handihoist as seen in fig. 3.4. When facing the Handihoist from the rear or building
side of the track, the Handihoist handwheel is on your right. Details on the Handihoist operation are given in
Chapter 4.
