TROUBLESHOOTING
The following chart is intended to assist with troubleshooting the Handihoist. While not all inclusive, the chart outlines
the most common causes of a problem and the recommended course of action.
SYMPTOM
CAUSE AND CORRECTIVE ACTION
Handihoist won’t lift load or is lifting it very
slowly
Handihoist attempting to lift more than stated capacity of unit—
check capacity rating and reduce load weight as needed
Platform not moving freely—check for track obstructions or
block and wire rope malfunctions
Too much wire rope on drum—hoisting capacity decreases as
wire rope diameter increases.
