Connecting the loudspeakers
Important
Before cabling disconnect your
hi-fi system (amplifier, receiver,
power amplifier etc.) from the
mains !
As a Center Loudspeaker
Connect the speaker outputs of
your multichannel amplifier with
the label Center Speaker with
the screw terminals of the
Re:sound S center 02 with
correct polarity. An invalid
polarity results in a very bad
tonal balance up to missing
basses as well as an unclear
stereo image. Use loudspeaker
cables with skinned ends.
As a Surround Loudspeaker
Connect the speaker outputs of
your multichannel amplifier with
the label Surround or Rear
Speaker with the two Re:sound
S center 02 attached behind in
the room with correct polarity.
Tighten screw terminals fast
because otherwise they can
cause side noise.
Cable Length & Cross Section
REVOX loudspeakers have
consistent electrical phase and
impedance characteristics and
are an uncritical load for the
power amplifier and the
loudspeaker cables.

In order to keep cable loss as
low as possible, we suggest the
following cable cross section
