INSTALLATION IWS 65  

 
 
You use the metal installation frame to 
fit the IWS 65  in a suspended ceiling 
or recessed into a wall in an elevated, 
upright position. For this purpose, you 
need to make a 188 x 275 mm   
( 7.4 x 10.88 in) cutout using the fitting 
template. You must ensure that once 
the speaker has been fitted, no dirt 
can get onto  the speaker unit from 
behind. Once the recess is clean, the 
speaker cable is connected with the 
correct polarity  to the IWS 65 -  see 
also page 10.

Attach the speaker unit to the 
installation frame loosely with the 6 
self-tapping screws supplied and 
insert it into the recess at an angle.

Once the unit has been lined up 
correctly, the screws should be 
screwed fully in. They should only be 
hand tight  as otherwise the metal 
mesh will not fit correctly.

Place the speaker grille in position.
