Using
Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions and damage:
ƒ Keep the clock movement out of reach of children. The unit
contain small parts that can be swallowed.
ƒ Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do
not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
ƒ Use the clock movement only indoors and keep the
movement away from dirt, dust and moisture.
Assembling
1. Assemble the clock movement into your clock. The battery
compartment has to be downwards and horizontally
aligned. The mounting space for assembling has to be at
least 7.5 mm.
2. First, place the black rubber ring on the movement and
tighten both parts with the thread screw. Do not overtighten
the thread screw.
3. Place the hour, minute and
second hand on the shaft of the
movement and start with the
hour hand. Place the hands on
the 12.00 o’clock position. Make sure the hands do not
touch each other. Use only the included hands and do not
force the hands while placing on the clock movement.
4. Insert an alkaline battery of the type LR6, 1.5 V (AA) into
the battery compartment, observing the right polarity.
Please note the battery symbol on the housing. Preferably
use alkaline batteries and do not use rechargeable batter-
ies.
