Troubleshooting
Off
No solar panel is detected.
/ The solar panel voltage is
too low.
1. Check the wiring from the solar panel to
the charge controller.
a. Make sure there is no reverse
polarity contact
.
b. Make sure the fuse or circuit
breaker in the circuit does not
trigger a protective break.
2. Check the solar panel.
a. Make sure it is not covered by
shadows.
b. Make sure it is not operating at
excessively high temperature.
c. Make sure that the input voltage is
at least 2V higher than the battery
voltage.
Off
No battery is detected / The
battery polarity contact is
reversed.
1. Check the wiring from the battery to the
charge controller. Make sure no reverse
polarity contact occurs.
2. Check the battery voltage. Measure
the battery voltage with a multimeter.
Ensure that the battery voltage ranges
from 11 and 15V.
Fast flashing red
for every 0.5s
Battery overvoltage
1. Measure the battery voltage with a
multimeter. The fault is only triggered
when the battery voltage is close to
16V.
2. Disconnect all external chargers and
leave the battery in idle state.
Slow flashing red
for every 1s
Battery undervoltage
1. Measure the battery voltage with a
multimeter.
2. If the battery is low, disconnect all loads
from the battery and charge the battery
with the solar panel.
Solid red
The charge controller is
abnormal.
