For older operating systems:
Some memory card formats (such as exFAT) require you to install a
system patch in order for the card reader to recognize the memory card. For more information, refer to the
operating instructions and the latest update information for your operating system.
• The card reader (and the card) may be damaged if the card is not inserted in the correct orientation.
• Never disconnect the card reader or remove the card when data is being transferred, as this could lead to
data loss or corrupt the data on the card.
• Before removing a memory card from the card reader, it must be safely unmounted on your computer to
avoid lost or corrupted data and to prevent damage to the card reader. For details, refer to the instructions
for your operating system.

• After your operating system has finished booting, insert the memory card into the corresponding card slot.
The memory card will be recognized as removable memory by your operating system. You can now copy
data to and from the card.
• The LED indicator will flash when data is being transferred. The LED indicator will not turn on when a card
is inserted and no data is being transferred.
All card slots can be used at the same time.
Cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the computer before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At
the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Intended use
This product is designed to read and write to compatible memory cards with a range of different formats. It
connects to a computer via a USB cable.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as short circuits or fire. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product

Connection
• Insert the Micro USB-B connector on the USB 3.0 cable into the Micro USB port on the back of the card
reader..
• Insert the USB-A connector into a USB 3.0 port on your computer. The LED indicator will turn on.
Important information
• The card reader can be connected to USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 ports, but it will not operate at USB 3.0 speeds.
• You do not need to install any drivers.
