This product is designed to securely mount one or two compatible SSD/HDD hard disks onto
a larger hard drive bay (8.89 cm / 3.5") on a computer. It can be used to mount 2 x 9.5 mm or
1 x 9.5 mm and 1 x 12.5 mm hard drives.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms,
must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.

• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts,
high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if
the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices into which
the product is mounted.

Mounting and connection
• Disconnect the power supply to your computer.
• View the "Technical data" section for information on the suitable HDD/SSD sizes and heights.
• Connect the hard disk(s) and mounting frame as illustrated using the mounting screws included
with the product. Make sure that the mounting frame and hard disk are properly aligned.
The sockets on the hard disk (for data transfer and power supply) need to remain accessible.

Inserting into the drive slot

• Carefully insert the pre-assembled unit into a free 3.5" drive bay on your computer, ensuring that
all cables can be connected. Secure the unit in place using the included screws.
• Connect the data and power supply cables to the hard disk(s). Make sure no cables can come
into contact with the fan inside your PC.

Switch on your computer and test whether the newly fitted components function correctly.
Maintenance and cleaning
Never use aggressive and abrasive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions, as these could damage the housing or even impair the functioning of the
product.
• Disconnect the computer in which the product is mounted from the power supply before
cleaning.
• The product does not require maintenance except for occasional cleaning. Use a soft, antistatic
and lint-free cloth to clean the product.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
