Slide switch key

1.  OFF: Power off

3.  ON: Monitoring mode.

MODE key

1.  Short press to switch back and forth between recording, taking pho-

tos, playback, and menus.

2.  In submenus, short press to return to the previous menu.

UP key

1.  Move upwards in the settings menu.
2.  Move upwards to select a number in the time setting or password 

protection menu.

OK/SHOT 

1.  In the video or photo interface, short press to take pictures and vid-

eos.

2. 

In the settings menu, short press OK to confirm your selection.

DOWN key

1.  Move downwards in the settings menu.
2.  Move downwards to select a number in the time setting or password 

protection menu.

3.  In playback mode, long press to display the delete menu, and then 

choose whether to delete a single file or delete all.

Operation

1.  Inserting the batteries/using the power adapter
Ensure that batteries are placed in the camera before use.
•  To insert the batteries, press the battery box button 

(6)

 and take out the battery box. Then 

insert four/eight 1.5 V AA batteries into the battery slot with correct polarity (observe the “+” 

and “-“ markings in the battery slots). 

•  When using the power adapter (not supplied) to power the product, open the round rubber 

seal on the base plate and then connect the plug on the adapter cable into the socket.

2.  Inserting/removing the memory card
•  Insert a memory card into the corresponding slot until it clicks into place.
•  To remove the memory card, push the card slightly in order to release it from the slot.

Note: The camera does not have a built-in memory, so a memory card must be inserted into 

the camera before use. If the memory card has been used in a different camera, format the 

memory card in the wildlife camera before use.

Switching on and off

•  To switch the wildlife camera on, slide the slide switch

 position. The

•  Set the slide switch to the 

OFF position

 to switch the wildlife camera off.

Settings and functions in the OSD menu

The following settings are available:

2.  Operating modes
The wildlife camera has three operating modes: Photo, Video and Photo+Video. Photo mode 

includes 1 MP, 3 MP, 5 MP, 8 MP, 12 MP, 16 MP and 20 MP resolution options. Video mode 

includes 1080p, 720p, WVGA and VGA resolution options. Higher resolution photos/videos 

are more detailed but take up more space on the memory card. In Photo+Video mode, the 

camera takes a photo and then starts recording video. Note: When recording video, the camera 

automatically enters power saving mode and the screen turns off. To turn the screen on again, 

press any key on the camera.

3.  Video length
The length of recorded video can be set from 3 to 60 seconds and from 1 to 10 minutes. The 

longer the selected recording time, the shorter the possible operating time. The pre-set video 

length is 5 seconds.

4.  PIR interval
The shot lag time can be set from 5 to 60 seconds and from 1 to 60 minutes.
During the selected interval, the camera will not record photos or videos. This prevents the 

memory card from being filled up with too many recordings of the same event.

5.  PIR sensor sensitivity
The sensitivity of the main motion sensor can be set depending on environmental conditions. 

Select “High” for interiors and environments with little interference, “Medium” for exteriors and 

environments with a normal amount of interference, and “Low” for environments with a high 

level of interference. 

6.  Working timer
The daily target recording time and duration can be set. After this time, the camera will remain 

on standby. To set the target recording time, go to the menu and enter the “Target recording 

time” menu. Press 

OK (4)

 and then select “ON” to set the target start and end recording time.

7.  Time lapse
Time lapse mode can be used to automatically take a photo at regular time intervals. To set time 

lapse settings, go to the menu and enter the “Time lapse” menu. Press 

OK

 and then select 

“ON” to set the time interval and Hr, Min and Sec values accordingly.

8.  System time setting
To set the time and date format, go to the menu and enter the “Time & Date” menu. Press 

OK (4)

 and select “OK” to make changes to the time and date. Press 

UP/DOWN

 to select the 

desired number and press 

UP (3)/DOWN (5)

 to change to value. Press 

OK (4)

 to confirm your 

changes.
Time format: 12/24 hr
Date format: DD/MM/YYYY, YYYY/MM/DD, MM/DD/YYYY

9.  Password setting
To set the camera’s power-on password, go to the menu and enter the “Password Setting” 

menu. Select “ON” to set a 4-digit number password. If you forget the power-on password, 

press 

OK+Up

 while the camera is turned off and then switch the slide switch to 

SETUP

 mode 

to unlock the camera.

10. Camera ID
To set a unique serial number for the camera, go to the menu and enter the serial number 

setting menu. Press 

OK (4)

 and select “ON” to set a 4-digit combination of digits or letters 

between 0-9/A-Z.

11. Playback
To view photos/videos recorded by the camera, remove the camera from the installed position, 

slide the switch

SETUP

 and press MODE

 3 times to enter Playback mode. Press 

UP (3)/DOWN (5)

 to view recorded photos/videos. When playing back recorded videos, press 

OK (4)

 to start playback and press 

OK (4)

 to stop playback.

•  The “Delete selection” function can be used to delete the currently selected photo/video 

from the memory card. Press 

MODE (1)

 3 times to enter Playback mode. Press and hold 

DOWN (5)

 to enter the delete menu and select “Delete Selection” and then “Delete Single”. 

Press 

OK (4)

 to confirm or press 

MODE (1)

 to exit.

•  The “Delete all” function can be used to delete all photos/videos from the memory card. 

In Playback mode, press and hold

 to enter the delete menu and select “Delete 

Selection” and then “Delete All”. Press

 to confirm or press
