Assembly
Wall-mounting is permissible only where the wall concerned is of the correct
type and condition. Thin, lightweight partition walls or those made from gyp-
sum boards with unstable substructures are usually not suitable. However,
specialist retailers do sometimes stock special dowel fittings for such instal-
lation locations. If you are in doubt, ask a specialist before installation.
Depending on the base material (e.g., concrete), suitable mounting materials
must be used (screws, dowels, etc.). Anchors and screws enclosed are suited
exclusively for solid walls. Special anchors and screws are not supplied with
the wall holder and must be bought separately, depending on the type and
condition of the wall concerned.
Due to the weight of wall holder and PA speaker cabinet and also the leverage
involved, ensure that screws are fixed securely.
Plan the installation location carefully, so that the wall holder with the PA
speaker cabinet fixed to it will be situated at the desired location (height and
position).
Pay attention when drilling and tightening the screws that no cables or pipes
in the wall are damaged. Inadvertently drilling through electric cables causes
the life-threatening danger of an electric shock!
Look after your own safety when using electric tools (e.g., a drill). Follow the
safety instructions in the relevant instructions.
Make sure that no persons are in the area under the wall holder or the PA
speaker cabinet while you carry out the installation.
• Select the position and the height of the wall holder at the mounting location.
• Align the wall holder horizontally using a water level.
• Mark the necessary drilling holes on the mounting surface. The mounting plate serves here
as a template.
• Drill the required holes and insert suitable anchors into the drilled holes (enclosed or special
wall plugs).
• Fasten the wall mount tightly in place and put the washers between the bolt head and mount-
ing plate while doing this. Use screws with the appropriate anchors.
• Attach the arm with the enclosed screw set 2x M8x45 to the mounting plate. You can insert
the bottom screw into different boreholes. The used borehole determines the tilting angle of
the box. Tighten both screws well.
• Place the PA speaker cabinet with the cabinet flange in the wall mount and align the PA
speaker cabinet as desired.
• Firmly tighten the fixing screw on the retention arm.
If you need to change the orientation or the pivot angle later on, always remove the
PA speaker cabinet from the wall mount before doing that.
Maintenance and cleaning
Use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. If the device is very dirty, use a cloth slightly moistened
with lukewarm tap water.
Disposal
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
