k) Switching off the drum sounds of a song
The “DRUM OFF“ (9) button switches off the drum sounds of a song
(LED in the button lights up), so that you can play them yourself.
l) Changing the speed of the song
The “TEMPO
“ and “TEMPO
“ (2) buttons change the speed
before and during playback of a song.
Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
To reset the speed to the basic settings, keep the two buttons pu-
shed at the same time.
m) Metronome, time signal
Use the „CLICK“ (6) button to activate a metronome; the LED in the
button will flash in time.
The first push of the button will activate the time signal of the met-
ronome as speech output (e.g. “One - Two - Three - Four“).
The second push of the button will output a specific sound as time
signal.
The third push of the button will switch off the metronome.
The time signal of the metronome is output depending on the cur-
rently set song.
It is also possible to activate the cycle signal without playing back
a song on the side. For this, select the desired song first or stop
its playback with the “START/STOP“ (13) button. Then push the
“CLICK“ (6) button once or twice to activate speech output or the
sound signal of the metronome.
Then select the desired speed with the “TEMPO
“ or “TEMPO
“ button.
n) Hand mode
Use the “HAND PERC“ (8) button to automatically select drum kit
“15“ and song “77“. This is preset for operation of the pads by hand
(instead of with the drum sticks).
The LED in the “HAND PERC“ button lights up.
Pushing the button again will leave this operating mode again.
