d) Operation in FM Mode
• If required, push the button FM/DAB (9) to switch to FM mode.
• The display (13) shows the transmitter frequency.
Manual station search
• Push one of the TUNING (12) buttons to select the desired station.
• Every push of a button changes the reception frequency in steps of 50 kHz.
Automatic station search run
• Push one of the TUNING (12) buttons and keep it pushed until the station scan starts.
Alternatively, you may also push the ENTER (11) button to start the scan.
• If a FM transmitter with sufficiently strong signal is found, the scan stops and the transmitter is
played back.
Please set weaker stations by manual station selection.
Use the menu "Scan setting" to set if the automatic station scan is to find only strong sta
-
tions ("Strong stations only") or all stations ("All stations"). The setting "All stations" may lead
to the station scan stopping after every frequency stop in some broadcasting areas. In this
case, set the search setting to "Strong stations only".
Station storage
The device may store up to 10 FM stations on the station button (2, 4, 6, 8 and 10).
The stored stations are not deleted even in case of power outage.
• Select other FM stations to be saved as described above.
• Push and hold the desired station button (2, 4, 6, 8 or 10) until the display (13) shows
"Preset xx stored".
• To select the second level (6-10) of the station buttons, first push the button SHIFT (7) and push and
hold the desired station button (2, 4, 6, 8 or 10) afterwards.
Selection of the stored stations
• Push the desired station button (2, 4, 6, 8 or 10) to call the saved station.
• To select the second level (6-10) of the station buttons, first push the button SHIFT (7) and push the
desired station button (2, 4, 6, 8 or 10) afterwards.
If no station is saved on the selected station button, the display (13) will show
"Preset empty".
