Mounting

Avoid placing the DVB-T antenna close to devices emitting interference (e.g.

micro-wave ovens, mobile phones, powerful engines, etc.).

You should also not install the device close to large metal surfaces, because

these may strongly dampen the receiving signal.

Place the antenna as high as possible to ensure maximum reception.

The external DVB-T antenna may only be installed in accordance with the
applicable VDE and local electricity board regulations.

Make sure you install the device to a solid, level base,  e.g. brickwork.

When drilling mounting holes, ensure that no existing electrical cables or
water pipes will be damaged.

Should the length of the supplied antenna cable not be sufficient, use a
suitable digital antenna cable for extension.

Before mounting the gooseneck stand, the reception quality at the chosen
mounting point should be checked.

Pay attention to correct mounting and a secure grip of the external antenna.
People could be injured if the device falls.

Wall-mounting

•  Secure the gooseneck stand on the wall using the mounting items provided. Should

the supplied screws and plugs not be suitable for your wall, please use others.

•  Put the antenna on the gooseneck stand. Using a tightening screw on the back of

the antenna, the antenna is fastened  to the gooseneck stand.

Mast-mounting

•  Only use a suitable mast that has been installed according to the applicable safety

regulations.

•  Put the antenna on the gooseneck stand. Using a tightening screw on the back of

the antenna, the antenna is fastened  to the gooseneck stand.

•  Fasten the antenna to the mast with the both fastening plugs and the wing nuts (see

picture on mast fastening).

Connection

You must only connect the antenna cable of the external DVB-T antenna to
antenna inputs of DVB-T devices.

If you power the device via the power unit, you must only use the enclosed
power unit.

Before running the antenna cable indoors, a drip loop should be made.
