b) Use with an External DMX Controller
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the
controller. This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the effect light responds.
The remaining control channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The effect light requires 4, 6 or 8 free DMX channels depending on DMX operating mode.
Setting the DMX starting address
• Set the desired DMX starting address (A001-A512) in the menu Addr.
Setting the DMX operating mode
• Set the desired number of DMX channels with the option 4CH / 6CH / 8CH in the menu CHnd.
The following tables provide information about the effects of the settings on the individual DMX channels.
