•
Do not let using the product distract you from your immediate surrounding.
•
Never use the binoculars when moving. You might overlook obstacles in front of you.
•
Do not use the binoculars to view bright light sources, especially the sun. Viewing
unfiltered sunlight for even a split second can cause permanent loss of sight.
•
The eyecups can cause skin irritations after prolonged use. Contact your physician
in such a case.
•
Risk of fire!
If used improperly, the binoculars can act like a burning lens and direct
the sunlight to one single small point, creating very high temperatures.
•
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if
the product:
-
is visibly damaged,
-
is no longer working properly,

has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
•
Make sure that the binoculars are not subjected to any blows or the like as this could

Do not let the binoculars swing by the wrist strap. The binoculars could hit and injure
you and other persons. The binoculars could also be damaged by striking other
objects.
•
Make sure the wrist strap does not get caught by other objects. This poses a risk
of injury.

Do not expose the product to heavy mechanical loads, extreme temperatures or
strong vibrations.
•
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.

Operation
a) Attaching the wrist strap
• Attach the wrist strap to the lugs (4) on both sides.
b) Adjusting the image
People wearing glasses:
Turn the eyecups downwards in clockwise direction. That
allows you to use the full field of vision while wearing glasses.
The binoculars can be used in rain. Do not immerse in water though.
•
If not wearing glasses, turn the eyecups (3) upwards in anticlockwise direction.
•
Fold the binoculars at the center until both oculars match the distance between your eyes and
you can see a round field of vision (see figure below).
•
Set the diopter adjustment ring (2) to “0”. There is a marking (+ | -) above the diopter adjustment
ring. “0” is the center position (‚|‘).
•
Target the desired object.
•
Cover the front of the right lens and turn the focus wheel (1) until the left image is sharp. Keep
both eyes open while making the adjustment.
•
Then cover the front of the left lens and turn the diopter adjustment ring until the image is sharp.
•
Adjusting the image is then completed.
c) Storing
•
Thoroughly dry and then store the binoculars in the provided pouch after use, in order to avoid
damage from scratching.
Maintenance and cleaning
•
Apart from occasional cleaning, the binoculars are maintenance-free.
•
Clean the lenses with a soft, dry and clean cloth only, e.g. use the lens cleaning cloth provided or
another soft lens cleaning cloth. Do not apply too much pressure, in order to prevent scratching.
•
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents, as those can cause discolorations.
Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
