b) Internet Radio
Switching to Internet Radio
• To switch to Internet Radio, scroll through the main menu to the left or right with one of the two arrow
buttons C11/C12 or A7/A9 , until “Internet Radio” is shown in the middle of the display. Then push the but-
ton C13 or A8 to open the function.
• Alternatively, you can push the button “MODE” C7 or A10 until the operating mode “iRadio” is displayed.
Selecting internet radio station:
• To select an internet radio station, open either “Radio Station/Music” or “Local Radio”.
The second item can also be chosen directly from the main menu. This is a summary of the local stations
in different categories.
You can save your favourite station in “My Favorite”. We will get back to this later.
In the item “History”, the last selected stations will be saved so that you can select them directly.
• In our configuration example, use the
C10 button or the A8 dial to navigate to “Radio Station/Music” and
open it with the C13 (OK) button or by pushing A8 .
Different subcategories follow now. Navigate through them with the two arrow buttons

and
C10
or the
A8 dial as well. If you want to switch to a category, push either the button C13 or A8 .
• In our example, select “Genre”, “Blues”, “Blues/Top10” in sequence, and finally a station of your choice.
• The radio then automatically connects to the station and it is played back.
• If you push the arrow to the right

A9
on the device during playback, you will be shown information
such as bit rate.
• If you want to go back in the menu here, simply push the button
C11
or
A7
.
• When you are moving back and forth in the menu, the display will automatically return to the current
station after a few seconds if you make no further input.
Playback continues uninterrupted until you choose another station or stop playback with the button C17 ,
however.
• Additionally, you can use the arrows up and down
C9/C10
to switch to the stations in the last category.
Adding stations to favourites:
There are two ways to save a station in the favourites.
• The first one only works while you are playing back a station.
Push and hold the favourites button “FAV+” (
C23 ) on the remote control or “FAV” ( A5 ) on the device until
the display switches to the favourites list.
Then use the two arrow buttons C9 and C10 or the scroll wheel A8 to select a memory slot and confirm
by pushing the button C13 or A8 .
