e) Unanswered calls
When a call from a visitor is unanswered (e.g. you are away from home or at a place
which is out of range from the caller unit), the Missed call icon (B)
appears on
the LC display. This icon is useful to remind you somebody has called upon. Press any
button briefly to remove this icon from the LC display.
12. Other operations
a) Selecting incoming call alerts
To select a type of incoming call alerts, press and hold the Volume up (13) and down
(10) buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds to enter the selection mode. Use the
Volume up (13) or down (10) button to choose one of the seven alert modes and
then press the Hang up
button (14) once to confirm your selection and return to the
normal operation mode.

Depending on your selection, an alert mode icon (see above) shows on the LC display.
Please note that an alert mode with vibration will decrease the operating time of the
handset.
b) Opening gate without a visitor
This function is only available if there is 12 V supply to the caller unit and your door is
equipped with an electric door opener.
In standby mode (i.e. when no call is set up between handset and caller unit), the
electric door opener can also be opened by pressing and holding the Doorlock open
button (9) for over 2 seconds. The Call indicator (4) on the caller unit also lights up
for 3 seconds.
