User's Manual

Terms

: The following terms are used throughout this manual:

Term

Meaning

Emulation Device

Device emulating the target device in the emulator.

Includes the emulation CPU.

Emulation CPU

CPU executing the user-developed program in the emulator.

Target Device

Device to be emulated (actual chip).

Target Program

Program to be debugged (user-developed program).

System to be debugged (user-developed system).

Target System

Includes the target program and user-developed hardware.

Narrowly, means the hardware only.
