Quick Start Tutorial Guide
This section provides instructions for starting up the evaluation board and the software to get the
device up and running. It also tackles the first steps of making modifications on the device.
DA9214 Performance Board (227-04-D) is used for this example; however, the same method applies
for both DA9213 and DA9215 Performance Boards.

Supply DA9214 from the VSYS and GND connectors as shown in
. A voltage of 3.7 V
(typical Li-Ion battery voltage) is applied and the input current is measured via a multi-meter. The
output voltage can be directly measured via a second multi-meter.
Start the GUI software installed on your computer. The
USB OK?
LED on the right-hand side of the
screen should be off if the USB cable is not plugged. Once the USB cable is connected the LED
displays a steady green. The Interface selector should show
SAM3U I2C
. If not, change it to
off
and
then to
SAM3U I2C
.
