LOCKING/UNLOCKING THE DOORS

Opening element status indicator
light

The warning light 3 informs you of
the locking status of the opening
elements:
- when the opening elements are
locked, indicator light 3 is on;
- when an opening element is open
(or not closed properly), indicator
light
3 is off.
When you lock the doors by
remote control, indicator light
3
stays on for approximately one
minute before going out.
If one of the four doors is open,
indicator light
5 lights up and the
doors in icon 4 open on display A .
Note: On vehicles which are not
equipped with a radio frequency
remote control, indicator light
3
stays lit for approximately 40
minutes after the doors have been
locked.
If you decide to keep the
doors locked when you are
driving, remember that it
may be more difficult for
those assisting you to gain access to
your vehicle in the event of an
emergency.
