PAIRING/UNPAIRING A PHONE
(2/2)
For more information, refer to your
phone’s user guide.
Once pairing is completed:
– a message with the name of the
phone that has been paired is dis-
played;
– the phone is automatically connected
to the vehicle.
If pairing fails, the message “Connection
has failed.” is displayed and a beep
sounds.
If the list of paired phones is full, a new
phone can only be paired if an existing
phone is unpaired.
Unpairing a phone
Unpairing deletes a phone from the
hands-free phone system memory.
Display the settings menu by press-
ing
9
then select the “Bluetooth con-
nection” menu. Select the phone to be
unpaired from the list, press
4
,
5
or
21
then select “Delete this device”.
Note:
unpairing a phone erases all the
contacts from the mobile phonebook
downloaded to the system, as well as
the associated history.
Your hands-free phone
system is only intended to
facilitate communication by
reducing the risk factors,
without removing them completely.
You must always comply with the
laws of the country in which you are
travelling.
